WHAT’S RIVERFEAST?

RiverFeast is so much more than a concert!

At its core, it’s a fundraiser to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank — an organization that works passionately to end hunger by providing our neighbors in need with healthy food.

For an introduction to this annual, feel-good event, check out this fun video filmed during the 2015 RiverFeast.

ABOUT SHAWN COLVIN

Three-time GRAMMY Award winner Shawn Colvin has established herself as one of the most captivating singer-songwriters of her generation, celebrated for her extraordinary voice, masterful guitar playing, and deeply personal songwriting.

Colvin burst onto the music scene with her 1989 debut album, “Steady On”, which earned the GRAMMY Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album. She reached an even greater milestone in 1998, winning GRAMMY Awards for both Record and Song of the Year for her Top 10 hit “Sunny Came Home,” from the platinum-selling album “A Few Small Repairs”.

Over a career spanning more than three decades, Colvin has released 13 acclaimed albums, toured extensively around the world, written a critically praised memoir, and performed on countless television and radio programs. Her songs have also been featured in major motion pictures.

Colvin’s remarkable career was recognized with the Americana Music Association’s 2016 Lifetime Achievement Trailblazer Award, presented by Bonnie Raitt, who called her “one of the best singers I’ve ever heard” and a truly gifted songwriter and guitarist. In 2019, Colvin was inducted into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame alongside Lyle Lovett and Buddy Guy.

From the enduring songs of “Steady On” to her Grammy-winning work and decades of unforgettable performances, Shawn Colvin remains a vital and influential voice in American music.

LIAM ST. JOHN

Born in Spokane, Washington and currently based in Nashville, Liam St. John describes himself as a “blues-tinged singer and songwriter.” He first skyrocketed to popularity in 2020, when he was a Team Gwen Stefani contestant on NBC’s The Voice. He received even more acclaim when he released his first hit, “Dipped In Bleach,” after being eliminated from the show in the battle rounds. St. John continued to release singles over the next few years, as well as several albums
including Man of the North (2025). Rolling Stone called the record “a bluesy, powerful album that announces the Washington state songwriter as an artist you need to know.” Man of the North featured collaborations with Grammy winner Molly Tuttle as well as Houndmouth, and St. John was lauded by critics and fans alike for his experimentation with Americana and rock and roll. St. John is currently on a North American headlining tour, and recently finished several international dates including Berlin, Rotterdam, and London, proving that his talent appeals to not just Nashville, but audiences across the pond as well. His most recent release, “Santa Baby (the Murder Ballad)” is a darkly humorous reinterpretation of the Christmas classic, and a spectacular showcase of Liam St. John’s impeccable musicianship and passion.
